DEADLINE March 15, 2023

Interviews of the finalists will be in mid-April. We hope applicants will know their college acceptances by then.

Established by Soroptimist International of San Francisco in 1991, the Georgia McHugh Scholarship program awards up to two scholarships annually to high school senior girls or female identified people living in San Francisco planning to attend a four-year university or college in California. It is funded by a bequest from a long-time member, the late Georgia McHugh who served as our club President in 1973.

The scholarship recognizes high school senior girls or female identified people who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievements, leadership and community service.

Every year Soroptimist International of San Francisco awards one to two scholarships in the amount of  $5,000. Recipients of the scholarship will also be mentored by our club members during their entire college career.
